Michael Nicholls
Director
Michael, a qualified Engineer by training, has been involved in the Finance Industry for more than 20 years. He spent four years in the United Kingdom with Nissan Finance, initially in a marketing role and then as Business Manager of a key London branch.
Upon arrival in Australia in 1987, Michael was employed by Hunter BNZ Finance Limited as a Leasing Executive. This gave him exposure to many facets of the Australian commercial finance market, ultimately leading to his appointment as Victorian State Marketing Manager. This marketing role encompassed all areas of the company's operation and it was during this time that Michael placed great emphasis on the expansion of the Vendor Finance Portfolio.
Michael's broad finance and managerial experience proved invaluable when in 1990 he established his own finance broking company, Melbourne Finance Broking. He has been the driving force behind the company's consistent growth, resulting in its position today as one of Australia's largest and most reputable finance broking operations.

Scott Amos
Director - Hindenburg Holdings Pty Ltd
After completing Economics and Law degrees in 1983, Scott joined Boston Australia Ltd, the Australian merchant banking subsidiary of the US Bank of Boston. He was initially trained as a credit analyst and moved on to become an account executive in the corporate and real estate lending divisions of the bank. In 1985 Scott was posted to the Bank of Boston's head office in Massachusetts for a two year period, working in the corporate lending, real estate and asset finance divisions.
In 1991 Scott engaged the aggregation services of Melbourne Finance Broking, thereby becoming its first client broker.
In addition to vehicle, capital equipment and IT financing, Scott also has specialised experience in larger transactions requiring letter of credit facilities for equipment purchased and imported from overseas suppliers.

Shaun Bowtell
Shaun has worked in the finance industry for over twenty three years, developing considerable contacts and knowledge throughout this time. He spent just over 10 years with a number of large finance companies, during which time he gained exposure to all aspects of the industry. Shaun joined Melbourne Finance Broking in 1998 and has since developed excellent working relationships with some household name clients. Shaun provides specialised equipment finance services to the agriculture and viticulture sectors amongst others, and has an excellent appreciate of his client's needs in relation to vehicle finance.

Tim de Bruijne
Director - MTD Financial Group Pty Ltd
After completing his business degree at Swinburne University, Tim worked in an administrative role for a large prestige motor vehicle dealership. This role progressed into a business manager's position whereby Tim gained the skills he now uses as a specialist in prestige vehicle lending. After nine years with the one company, he moved to BMW Melbourne as their Business Manager. A further three years in this role has seen Tim write over $100 million worth of finance.
Tim now specialises in both motor vehicle and equipment lending, using his expertise and knowledge to meet his client's needs.

Lindsay Christensen
Director - LNC Services Pty Ltd
Lindsay has worked in the finance industry for over 30 years. He obtained a Certificate of Business Studies and began his career as a Credit Collector for the Chrysler Motor Company. He then joined Hunter BNZ Finance in the Lending area.
Lindsay went on to work with Orix Australia for 17 years in Sales and Credit, ultimately heading up the Commercial Finance Branch. There, the majority of his business was in motor vehicles and equipment, offering the full range of services including leaseback and private sales.
Lindsay established his own finance brokerage, LNC Services, in 2004 when Orix closed their Melbourne office. He continues to deliver all types of finance options for motor vehicles and equipment to his clients.

Raffaele Crea
Director - Moorsome Pty Ltd
Raffaele started his career as a qualified accountant in 1987 branched out to run his own business in 1991, providing taxation, accounting & financial services to small business & individuals for nearly 10 years. Raff is a vehicle and motorcycle enthusiast and so in 2001, was inspired to combine his experience in finance with his passion for motor vehicles. He started building his knowledge as a Business Manager with various dealerships and gained an in depth understanding of consumer and commercial vehicle finance and insurance. During this time, he developed a strong relationship with BMW Finance, culminating in 2005 with the BMW Business Manager of the Year award for customer service. Raff joined Melbourne Finance Broking in 2006 and his business has continued to flourish given his commitment to his clients. His primary areas of expertise are vehicle and equipment finance, including manufacturing and office equipment, as well as insurance and property finance.

Prior to joining Melbourne Finance Broking nine years ago, Michael was extensively involved in service provision in the hospitality and death care industries. Dealing with a diverse clientele mean Michael has honed his skill for communication and service to the highest possible level.
Michael is passionate about the need to constantly provide better customer service. With his experience in managing the Finance Department of Lance Dixon 's five motor vehicle franchises in Doncaster for six years from 2001 and, in 2007, establishing an office in Richmond to further extend his client group, Michael is able to offer finance for vehicles, equipment, machinery and property as well as insurance.

Leigh Martin
Director - Floppy Dog Pty Ltd
Leigh Martin has specialized in Equipment Finance for the last three years, but prior to this he spent five years operating his own retail food business. This practical experience allows him to see things from his client 's point of view, including experience with equipment finance. In early 2006 Leigh embarked on a new career in Equipment Finance and was involved in extensive training before moving across to Melbourne Finance Broking.
Leigh specializes in plant and equipment in the machinery, woodworking and packaging industries.
